ADHD Support Group
As someone with ADHD, there are many skills and strengths you possess that will allow you to flourish in the ‘real world’ but there are others that can present significant challenges while you are a student. This group will meet weekly for two hours during the semester and together we will identify the things that get in the way of your studies and work on developing skills to overcome those barriers.
ADHD 101: This group will be a great way for you to connect with other students who have similar life experiences. It is envisaged that this group will give you the opportunity to help each other by sharing some of the strategies you have developed over time. This group is for students who have not attended the ADHD support group before.
ADHD 102: Meeting the demands of university study can be challenging for students with ADHD. This 2 hour support group, provided on a fortnightly basis, is for students that have completed the ADHD101 Support Group but would like to continue to check in and get support throughout semester. Offered in Semester 2 2020 on a fortnightly basis, as an online or face to face option.
