Anxiety Skills Group
Stressed? Anxious? This 10-session group held weekly might be just the thing you need to more effectively calm your mind and body when the many demands of student life become overwhelming.
We all experience stress and anxiety, but sometimes it starts to interfere with our lives, sleep, eating habits, relationships, concentration, and studies.
Over 10 sessions, you will learn some practical skills in calming down your mind and body so you can do the things you normally do. Every week you will focus on a different skill, with ample time in the 90 minute session for you to practice.
At the end of the program, you will have a range of skills at your disposal to calm your mind and body when you really need to.
Semester 2 2019 schedule
Group 1: 10am – 11.30am, Tuesdays, 13 August – 15 October (Note: Meets in tuition-free week)
Group 2: 10:30am – 12pm, Thursdays, 15 August – 31 October (Note: Except tuition-free weeks)
