ACTion for ADHD
Have you ever thought “I will do well at university when I can finally get rid of my anxiety, stress or inattention”? Rather than waiting for the “perfect conditions” which may never occur, this new pilot group based on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy principles (ACT; Steven Hayes) will offer you the opportunity to develop your skills and practice changing your relationship to your thoughts, feelings and other internal experiences so you can focus on creating a meaningful life for yourself.
Interested participants need to have already completed the ADHD Support Group and be able to commit to attending the 8 group every week.
In addition, the willingness to practice skills every day, outside the group, is the key to maximising your experience and benefit.
