Emergencies and after-hours help

There are many agencies in Western Australia that provide 24-hour crisis lines, counselling, family and child protection, mental health services and emergency relief. They can help you deal with most emergencies.


On-campus emergencies and personal crises

For wellbeing or counselling emergencies on campus during office hours, please contact the Counselling Service on +61 8 9266 7850. You can speak with the triage counsellor, who will then schedule an appointment that best meets the urgency and complexity of your situation.

For life-threatening emergencies (Fire, Police or Ambulance):

  • Call 0 000 from an internal phone
  • Call 000 from an external or mobile phone.

For general security assistance including non-life threatening emergencies:

  • Call 4444 from an internal phone
  • Call 9266 4444 from an external or mobile phone.
