An international internship enables you to gain first-hand experience working overseas and experiencing the professional world. You will develop valuable skills providing a valuable and competitive advantage when you return home. It also looks great on your CV!

Business and Law
The Faculty of Business and Law works with partners and host organisations around the world to facilitate a range of international internship opportunities for students. Most programs also have $3000 in New Colombo Plan funding available to eligible domestic students.

Health Science
Go Global Health Science clinical and community placements
This award-winning international student mobility program enables you to work alongside your peers from other health sciences disciplines, all while experiencing the unique culture of the region. Currently, you can apply to undertake your placement in Cambodia, China, India, Nepal, Thailand and Vietnam.
Humanities
Curtin’s Faculty of Humanities have course specific international internships available via the New Colombo Plan. These placements range in length and are available for eligible students to receive between $3000 – $8000 to assist in funding their experience.
Science and Engineering
Get your foot in the door! Find out how you can increase your professional prospects through international internships to gain real world industry knowledge in science and engineering. Many of the programs offer New Colombo Plan grants to assist with the cost of your placement and travel experiences between $3000-$8000.
Cultural Immersion internship
12 week Internship in Indonesia*
This program is run with students from Curtin, RMIT, University of South Australia (UniSA) and University of Technology, Sydney (UTS).
6 week Internship in Indonesia*
This program is run with students from Curtin, RMIT, University of South Australia (UniSA) and University of Technology, Sydney (UTS).
Semester Internships in Singapore and South Korea*
