My Offers

The My Offers tab of eStudent will show a list of the courses for which you have received an offer for you to study at Curtin. You may have received more than one offer.  For each offer that you receive you can either Accept or Defer.

Accept your offer

Accepting an offer means that you agree to any specific conditions and you would like to start at the specified time.

To accept an offer:

  1. Select View for the appropriate offer to display the details of your offer.
  2. Check that the details are correct and that you accept the conditions of the offer.
  3. Click Accept and a success message will confirm that you have successfully accepted your offer.

Defer your offer

This option is only available to domestic students before the census date for the course offering.  After census date you can apply for a leave of absence. International students are unable to defer due to a condition of their student visa.

Undergraduate students

When you defer your offer, you are requesting to start it at a later date. You must meet specific conditions to defer your offer. If you have already accepted your offer you can email the Admissions Office via defer@curtin.edu.au for assistance.

To defer your offer:

  1. Select View for the appropriate offer to display the details of your offer.
  2. Check the details are correct, you accept and have met the conditions of the offer. The conditions may include fee payments or admission requirements.
  3. Click Defer to display the deferral form.
  4. Select the year and study period you would prefer to begin your studies.
  5. Click Defer and a success message will confirm that you have successfully deferred your offer.

Postgraduate students

If you have been offered a postgraduate course and you would like to postpone the commencement of your studies, contact Curtin Connect for assistance.

Application status definitions

Incomplete Student Application
  • Yes - you have not completed or submitted your eApplication application.
  • No - you have successfully submitted your eApplication and should receive an application confirmation email.
Application Status
  • Unassessed – your application is currently being assessed or will be assessed after the closing date. The time it takes to assess applications varies between courses.
  • Qualified – your application has been assessed and a Letter of Offer will be sent to your provided email address shortly.
  • Qualified with conditions – your application has been assessed and a Letter of Offer will be sent to your provided email address shortly.
  • Withdrawn – you have chosen to withdraw you application and it will no longer be considered. 

Offer details

  • Course/Unit code
  • Title of course
  • Version – Version of the course that is being offered.
  • Offer status
  • Offer lapse date – the date this offer will expire.
  • Application No
  • Application Date – the date that you submitted your application.
  • Application status – the outcome of your application
  • Preference – order of preference for your application
  • Year – the year you start your course
  • Study period – the period you will start your course
  • Attendance mode – describes your method of study
  • Location – your campus or study mode
  • Has conditions – indicates if your offer is conditional.
