Welcome to Kalgoorlie
Kalgoorlie is an historic mining town in the Goldfields region of Western Australia, about 650km east of Perth.
The town was originally established in 1893 when gold was first discovered there, and today it remains an important centre for the state’s booming resources industry. Just outside the town is the Superpit – the largest open-pit mine in Australia.
Kalgoorlie is a thriving hub complete with supermarkets, cafes, entertainment and all modern amenities.
