Curtin has on-campus student accommodation in Perth and Kalgoorlie. Many students who are new to Perth, or Curtin, choose to live on campus as it’s a great way to transition into university life and get the most out of the experience.

Enjoy the convenience
When you live on campus you live, study and socialise all in one location. You’ll enjoy an independent lifestyle in your own private fully-furnished room. There are also a range of additional services and facilities for your comfort and convenience, such as an on-site laundry, common areas and free car parking.
When you live on campus the Curtin library, gym and Waterford shopping centre are on your doorstep. Perth city and the Victoria Park café strip are only a short bus ride away.
It’s a safe and secure environment
Safety and wellbeing is our top priority. Our accommodation has CCTV and is patrolled by Curtin’s Safer Community Team who offer 24/7 assistance, every day of the year. The team provide security escorts, mechanical assistance, and will help with any issue relating to safety and security.
There’s also a free SafeZone smartphone app that puts you in direct contact with our Safer Community Team, at any time.
Our dedicated accommodation staff are here to help you settle in and make your stay as enjoyable as possible. There’s support after office hours too with Residence Assistants who live on site.
Become part of a fun community
Making new friends is an important part of university life. When you live on campus you’ll have regular opportunities to enjoy a range of fun weekly activities and social events. Our students come from all over the world and it’s not uncommon to make friendships that last well beyond your university years.
You’ll also have access to Curtin Stadium (via a free off-peak membership) where you can participate in a range of sport, fitness and recreation activities as a way to unwind, keep fit and have fun between studying.
You’ll benefit from easy living
Living on campus is easy, you’ll benefit from free wi-fi, parking and an off-peak gym membership. Your weekly rent includes the cost of gas, electricity and water, so you don’t have to worry about extra bills!
As a Curtin student you also don’t have to pay a bond or security deposit to live on campus. This normally equates to four weeks rent and is charged by most off-campus accommodation providers.
