Graduation appeal

Purpose

When a student receives notification that their application to graduation has been denied and believe they have meet all requirements for graduation they can formally appeal the decision.

Process

A formal appeal requires a letter to the Head of School within ten (10) working days from the date of notification of the decision regarding an application to graduate. On receipt of the appeal an acknowledgement receipt will be issued within five (5) working days. The Head of School will notify the student of the outcome of the appeal.

Tips

Curtin is very explicit in stating what a student needs to be able to graduate. Make sure you have a case before you appeal for your right to graduate, as you will be refused if you are not eligible.
