International students graduating and returning home

Please be aware, your student visa may not be valid for you to stay in Australia until the date of your graduation ceremony.

If this is the case and you wish to attend your ceremony in Australia you should contact the Department of Immigration and Citizenship to apply for a visitors/tourist visa. Student Central can provide a letter to confirm your graduation date which may assist with this visa application.
