Special late withdrawal

The units that are withdrawn through this process remain on your academic record as "withdrawn" (WD) and you will still be liable for the student contribution or tuition fees. However if you apply for a Special Late Withdrawal you may also wish to complete and submit an Application for Refund or an Application for Remission of Debt [.pdf].  The forms are available on the forms web page.

To apply for a Special Late Withdrawal you must complete the applicable Application for Special Late Withdrawal form available on the forms web page.  The Head of School for your course will need to sign the form; you then take it to your Faculty Student Service Office or student contact office.  The last date for submitting the form is by the Friday prior to the commencement of the examination period for that study period.  The dates for the examination period are listed on the Academic Calendar and Key Dates.
