Cross-institutional enrolment enables a Curtin student to remain enrolled in their principal course at Curtin and undertake unit/s from another Australian university. This is called “outbound” enrolment.
Conversely, cross- institutional enrolment enables a student from another Australian university to remain enrolled in their principle course at their home institution and undertake unit/s at Curtin. This is called "inbound" enrolment.
In both cases the universities agree to the enrolment and the student obtains credit for the units in their principal course.
Cross-institutional enrolment "outbound" is only permitted for Curtin students after satisfactory performance in the first year of study.

Cross-institutional enrolment "inbound" is only permitted if a student meets Curtin University's English competency requirements or has successfully completed one full year of university study.

Please note, before you apply you must have completed 1 year of study at your home University and you will require a signed authorisation letter and Academic Transcripts from your home University. International students will also require a copy of their Visa.
